Arthritis: An Inflammatory Condition

One in 5 American adults experience Arthritis. 300,000 children have it. Arthritis refers to                                                             more than 100 different dis-eases that manifest as pain, stiffness, swelling in and around                                                             joints. You likely know about:

A few arthritic conditions that you might not suspect: Crohn’s Disease, Lupus, Gout, Lyme,                                                           Scleroderma, and Psoriasis. Arthritis limits walking, dressing, bathing, etc and is second only                                                       to heart disease as a cause of work disability.

The cause of most types of Arthritis is unknown. What is known are factors such as injuries,                                                       inflammation and genetics. RA is an auto-immune condition. In Dr. Straile’s experience,                                                               most arthritis is caused by inflammatory processes in the body, such as allergies, particularly                                                     food allergies and gout related issues. Gout refers to build-up of Uric Acid.

NSAID drugs are usually the first line of defense. Many patients find the addition of alternative therapies such as chiropractic, acupuncture, massage, meditation, omega-3 oils, Boswellia, water aerobics, Tai Chi, and so on, beneficial. But these are just managing modalities.

Nampudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET)
Many arthritic symptoms, according to Dr. Devi Nampudripad, are caused by corn and cornstarch allergies. Food allergies are very common in arthritis www.naet.com.

Dr. Bernard Straile is an experienced NAET practitioner, trained by Dr. Nampudripad. He uses NAET to detect an allergen and to “teach” the Nervous System to accept the allergen and to deal with it normally—without hypersensitivity. In this manner inflammation is diminished and the Body encouraged to function more normally.  He also employs advanced natural methods to rehabilitate damaged joints.

A NAET appointment with Dr. Straile can be made by calling 315-468-2422.
